1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the CrossLens application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

CrossLens is designed to provide informed comparison of global news coverage. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not use the App to engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the operation of the App or its underlying servers and networks.

3. Intellectual Property and Content

News Content: The news articles, summaries, headlines, and excerpts displayed within CrossLens are the intellectual property of their respective original publishers and authors. CrossLens provides links back to the original source material and clearly distinguishes translated content. CrossLens claims no ownership over the third-party news content it aggregates.

App IP: The design, structure, "Lens Gap" feature concepts, and original code of the CrossLens application are the property of the CrossLens developers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

4. CrossLens Plus Subscriptions

CrossLens offers a premium tier, "CrossLens Plus", which unlocks full source access, translations, and complete Lens Gap evidence.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play Store account.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Google Play Store Account Settings after purchase.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to provide accurate clustering and translations, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the absolute accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the aggregated news content, translations, or Lens Gap assessments. The Lens Gap assessment is an illustrative tool for comparing reporting differences, not a definitive judgment of factual accuracy.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers of CrossLens be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, or your reliance on any information provided by the App.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes will mean you accept those changes.
